Poseidon Marine

For this branding exercise I was tasked with creating a company based off of a mythological character. I chose the god of the sea, Poseidon, and decided to make it into a high-end boat manufacturing company called Poseidon Marine. The company specializes in manufacturing and selling various types of boats including yachts, speedboats, cruisers, powerboats, etc. They also sell other maqrine products such as fenders, flags, mats, steering wheels, and more.

I wanted to create a typographic wordmark that represented the character of Poseidon while still maintaining a sophisticated look to match the high-end products they sell, which is why I chose the typeface I did and included a trident.
